Superconductor is a material that uses pure copper as its main conducting alloy. Over time, the copper will darken as it patinas. The copper can be refreshed to it's original color and luster with a quick soak in vinegar. Be sure to not leave it in the vinegar too long, and make sure you rinse the acid off well afterwards, or it may corrode with the two materials present.
